Dr. Muhammad "Tuan" Amith is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biostatistics and Data Science at the University of Texas Medical Branch, focusing on public health and consumer health informatics research. Dr. Amith received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) and holds a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science and Software Engineering. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor at UTHealth within the School of Biomedical Informatics, and he was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Information Science at the University of North Texas.
